BLOUNTVILLE FARMER'S MARKET
The Blountville Farmer's Market has been a Thursday tradition in Sullivan County for years — currently behind the courthouse, and planned to move to its permanent home at Home Field. Same local growers, same farm-fresh quality, better space for everyone.
When: Thursdays during market season (typically May – August; expanded season planned at Home Field)
Where: Currently behind the Sullivan County Courthouse. Planned permanent home: the Market district at Home Field, with dedicated vendor spaces off Blountville Road
Parking: Market Lot (center campus) — free parking
Vendors: Local produce, farm-fresh eggs, baked goods, honey, jams, jellies, flowers, garden plants, handmade crafts, and seasonal specialties
SNAP/EBT: Accepted. Fresh Savings program stretches your SNAP dollars on fresh fruits and vegetables.

WHAT YOU'LL FIND
Every week is a little different depending on the season and who's set up, but here's what you can generally expect:
Summer Peak
Tomatoes, corn, squash, zucchini, green beans, peppers, cucumbers, peaches, melons, berries, fresh herbs, and cut flowers.
Spring & Early Summer
Lettuce, spinach, radishes, strawberries, spring onions, asparagus, bedding plants, and garden starts.
Late Summer & Fall
Apples, pumpkins, sweet potatoes, winter squash, turnip greens, dried flowers, and fall decorations.
Year-Round
Farm-fresh eggs, honey, jams, jellies, baked goods (breads, pies, cookies), handmade soaps, candles, and crafts.
BECOME A VENDOR
The Home Field Farmer's Market welcomes local growers, artisans, bakers, and food producers. Booth space is available on a seasonal or weekly drop-in basis.
Seasonal booth: Reserved weekly spot, April–October. Priority placement.
Drop-in booth: Available on a first-come, first-served basis. Contact us by Monday for Thursday availability.
Setup: Vendors provide their own tent, table, and signage. Market opens for vendor setup at 10:30 AM.
Requirements: All food vendors must comply with Tennessee Department of Agriculture regulations. Produce must be grown or produced locally.
HOME FIELD
The food truck area at Home Field hosts rotating trucks twice a week — a designated paved lot with electrical hookups right next to the pavilion.
Midweek Lunch
11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Two to three trucks weekly. Quick lunch for county employees, nearby businesses, and anyone who needs a reason to get out of the house. Rotating lineup — tacos, BBQ, burgers, Southern plates.
Friday Night Rally
5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
The full Friday Night at Home Field experience. Four to six trucks, live music at the pavilion, kids running free. This is the weekly event that brings the whole community out. Bring a lawn chair.
